Script Requirements
Blue Ribbon Scripts -- Mentoring Services by Award Winning Screenwriters
Blue Ribbon Scripts follows standard competition requirements for
screenplay submission.
1. Screenplays are not to exceed 120 pages. If you are in early stages
of writing and your screenplay exceeds this limit you may still submit it to
a mentor, however, the mentor is only required to read to page 120.
2. Screenplays are accepted in the following formats: PDF (preferred),
SCR (MovieMagic) and FDR (Final Draft). Screenplays written in word
processing programs will be accepted however, writers need to
recognize that screenplays written without professional software are
HIGHLY UNLIKELY to place in competition.
3. Screenplays must be submitted in English.
